The Preferred Owner Program is a loyalty program provided by your dealership to reward customers for purchasing and/or servicing with them.

▼ How does the Preferred Owner Program work?

You are rewarded with points when you purchase and/or service your vehicle at the participating dealership. The Dealer determines what they offer their members and how the points can be redeemed. Check with your participating dealership on the points you can earn and how you can redeem them.

▼ Can I have a Preferred Owner Program account at different dealerships?

Yes. When a dealership enrolls you in the program, however, that Preferred Owner Program account may only be used at the dealership that enrolled you. You will have a different Preferred Owner Program member account number for each dealership that enrolls you in the program.

▼ I have two Preferred Owner Program accounts at two different dealerships. How do I cancel one of them?

If you would like to cancel a Preferred Owner Program account, please contact the dealership that enrolled you.

▼ How much is one point worth?

One Preferred Owner Point equals one dollar to use at your participating dealership.

▼ Can I earn points when I purchase a vehicle at my dealership?

Dealers create their own structure for rewarding Preferred Owner Program points, so it will vary from dealership to dealership. Please ask your Service Advisor, Service Manager, Sales Consultant, or General Manager for specific Preferred Owner Program dealership vehicle sales programs.

Points are rewarded to your account upon completion of a transaction at the dealership. Additionally, Points Plus Bonus Points can be earned by shopping online within the Points P;us online mal. Points Plus Bonus Points are posted to your Preferred Owner Program Service account 15-30 days after shipment.

▼ When do my points expire?

Each dealership establishes their own point expiration time frame. Check with dealership management to find out when your points will expire.

▼ Where can I redeem my points?

Your Preferred Owner Program points may be redeemed only at the dealership that enrolled you in the program.

▼ May I use my points at any GM dealership?

No. You may only use your points at the dealership that enrolled you in the program.

▼ May I use my points at a retail store?

No. Preferred Owner Program points can only be redeemed at the dealership that enrolled you in the program.

▼ May I give my points to someone else?

Preferred Owner Program member accounts are designed for household use. You can earn and redeem points with other members in the household and other vehicles in the garage. Check with your participating dealership on what rules may apply for sharing points with others outside your household.

▼ I wasn’t rewarded any points on my last visit. Who do I contact?

You may use the “Contact Us” link in the top navigation of the GM Preferred Owner Program website to submit your question to the dealership. Or, contact the dealership directly to discuss the reward you expected to receive.

▼ May I use coupons and also earn on the same transaction?

Check with the participating dealership whether or not coupons can be used in conjunction with earning Preferred Owner Program points.

▼ Do I have to use all my points on my next visit?

You can use all, none, or a portion of your point balance on your next dealership visit. You can also accumulate your points for a bigger purchase in the future. (Please see the Dealer’s Terms and Conditions for any reward/redemption limits per transaction.)

When you log in to the Preferred Owner Program member website, your points balance(s) will show on the home page.

▼ How do I update my member information on my account?

When you log in to the Preferred Owner Program member website, Click “Profile” in the top navigation to update your name, address, phone number(s), or email address. Click “Update Profile” to save changes.

▼ How do I view my recent transactions?

When you log in to the Preferred Owner Program member website, Click “Transaction History” in the top navigation to view your transaction history.

▼ How do I unsubscribe from email communications?

Within each email communication you may receive, there is an unsubscribe link located at the bottom of the email. If you click the unsubscribe link, you will stop receiving all email communications from the Preferred Owner Program.

▼ I unsubscribed from email communications. How can I start receiving them again?

You may resubscribe to receive email communications from the Preferred Owner Program by clicking “Profile” in the top navigation. Check the box to resubscribe, then click “Update Profile” to save changes.

▼ How do I cancel my membership?

Contact the dealership that enrolled you in the program to cancel your Preferred Owner Program account.

POINTS PLUS

▼ What is Points Plus?

As a Preferred Owner Program member, you have access to the Points Plus online mall by clicking “Earn Bonus Points” in the top navigation. When you shop online through the Points Plus online mall, you will earn Bonus Points that can be used at your dealership. The complete list of retailers is located within the online mall.

▼ What is the cost to participate in Points Plus?

There is no fee to participate in Points Plus.

▼ How do I receive my Points Plus Bonus Points?

Points Plus Bonus Points are automatically added to your Service points balance.

▼ How long does it take for Points Plus Bonus Points to show up in my account?

Points Plus Bonus Points post 15-30 days from shipment of the date of the online purchase. Points Plus Bonus Points for travel-related purchases will post approximately 15 days after the travel/stay date.

▼ Do my Points Plus Bonus Points expire?

Yes. Points Plus Bonus Points expire two (2) years from the transaction date.

▼ Whom do I contact if I have a question about my Points Plus Bonus Points?

Please use the “Contact Us” link in the top navigation of the GM Preferred Owner Program website to submit your Points Plus question. Depending on the nature of the question, it may be answered by either the participating dealership or Preferred Owner Program Headquarters.


Garber Chevrolet’s Preferred Owner Program (POP) Terms & Conditions

These Preferred Owner terms and conditions form the agreement (the” Agreement”) between you (“You”) and Garber Chevrolet (“The Company”).

You agree to read these terms and conditions carefully before using the Garber Chevrolet Preferred Owner Card program. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not participate in the program. Use of the Preferred Owner program signifies your agreement to the terms and conditions of use set forth below.

  1. The Garber Chevrolet Preferred Owner Card offer is good only Garber Chevrolet.
  2. The Garber Chevrolet Preferred Owner Card is not redeemable for cash.
  3. Purchases are required to earn rewards.
  4. No rewards will be issued retroactively.
  5. You will earn rewards for every dollar spent (1 point equals the value of 1 dollar). Every time you use your card, your receipt will show the rewards credited to your account. Rewards are stored by the Preferred Owner Card computer system administrator and are automatically updated. Rewards are earned for dollars spent in Service, Parts, and on Accessories.
  6. Preferred Owner Cards rewards may not be used in conjunction with any specials or coupons
  7. A Maximum Preferred Customer dollar award applies to each redemption and Company reserves the right to change the maximum redemption amounts at its sole discretion without prior notice.
  8. The preferred card will expire 60 months after issuance without use.
  9. The Company reserves the right to change, suspend or discontinue the Preferred Owner Card program at any time at its sole discretion without prior notice. The company may also impose limits on certain features and services or restrict your access to parts or all of the Preferred Owner Card program without notice or liability. The Company reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you and you shall not in any event settle any matter without consent of the Company.
  10. Any returns or voids for items paid with a stored value will have the amount returned directly to the Preferred Owner Card. No cash will be given.
  11. There is no fee to participate in the Garber Chevrolet Preferred Owner Card Program.
  12. Please contact the Company with any questions regarding the Preferred Card program.
  13. $250 towards your next pre-owned vehicle purchase. (May not be used with any GM Formula Pricing Discounts).

Disclaimer: The above rules and regulations as well as any new rules and regulations pertaining to the Garber Chevrolet Preferred Owner Card program may change without notice.
